She co-convened this celebrated event with senior researchers from Singapore, Australia, Netherlands and USA. In 2016/7 Dr Mauro-Flude was invited to be the esteemed Art track Chair of Association of Computer Machinery (ACM) SIGCHI for the 11th Creativity and Cognition Symposium at the National Gallery Singapore - the first in Asia, showcasing international art at the intersection of performance and computer-human interaction. She is current mentor and Reviewer for the WEAR sustain project funded by the European Commission Horizon 2020. She has also served as an expert peer reviewer assessing Australia Council for the Arts funding rounds (2015-18) and was appointed by the Tasmanian Government, Department of State Growth's Cultural and Creative Industries Expert Register (2019-20) by Minister for the Arts, the Honourable Elise Archer MP for Arts Tasmania programs. She was a member of Science, Technology & Society Research Cluster, Asia Research Institute (2016-2018)Įxternal advisor for the Digital Design programme Victoria University, and the Integrated Digital Media Masters program, Tandon School of Engineering New York University Brooklyn, USA. This includes symposium addresses on data driven performance at Is Big Data a New Medium?, LaSalle College for Arts Singapore (2018) Radical Networks, Eye Beam, NY (2016-7) Postcolonial Mediations, Amsterdam University Project Anywhere, School of Art, Media, and Technology at Parsons School of Design, The New School, New York, NY (2018) Energies and the Arts Conference, National Institute for Experimental Arts (2015), and on the Arts Daily on ABC Radio National, and The Mix on ABC TV1 (2016). Her work has also featured at the Museum of New and Old Art (MONA) Tasmania (2014-6) Contemporary Art Tasmania (CAT) (2014- 2016) Transmediale festival for Art and Digital Culture Berlin (2014-6) 10 days on the Island, Tasmania (2017) EyeBeam, New York (2016) ArtScience Museum Singapore (2017) National Gallery Singapore (2017) and the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art (ACCA), Melbourne (2018) among other venues.ĭr Mauro-Flude is invited to deliver numerous public lectures and conference papers both nationally and internationally. Dr Mauro-Flude represented Australia at the 2nd Beijing Media Arts Biennale (BMAB) at CAFA Art Museum, China (2018). Over the last five years Dr Mauro-Flude has presented major solo and collaborative exhibitions globally.
